My Angel,My Love Part 2

“Angels don’t exist,” the boy shouted with his hands on his head and tears on his face.
“Say it louder,” a bigger boy sneered as he threw a book at the boy.
“Leave him alone!” I stated boldly.
“Leave him alone,” the older boy mimicked in a girly tone.
“If you don’t leave him alone I’ll call 911, and get you under arrest. Then I’ll kick your balls just before the police gets here and claim it was for self defense because you tried to rape me,” I stated as I boldly took a step up to him with my head held high.
“You’re too afraid to,” he dared.
“Try me, or did your mommy tell you not to hit a girl?”
“You’ll regret this,” the older boy said as he walked off to Azule knows where.

I helped the crying boy up onto his feet. His eyes were red and puffy, and his cheeks were red with tears. He was hurt more than on just the outside, he was hurt on the inside, and that was the source of power for the demons.

“Hi~” I smiled brightly. “Are you okay?”
“Yea…”
“My name is Alexandra Hope,” I said.
“Mine is Richard.”
“Why were you crying?” I asked concerned.
“That guy started beating me up when I said that angels were in this world protecting us. He got a bruise because someone accidentally hit him with a football. Then I asked him if he believed that somewhere out there” he explained as he pointed at the vast blue sky, “there were angels who protected us, and made us happy. Then he hit me.”
“Oh…”
“Do you believe that there are angels in this world, and one is probably looking down on us right now?”
“Yes…” I said, because it was true, the captain was watching over me; making sure that I was doing the job right.
“I have to go home soon.”
“I gotta go soon too,” I replied.
“See you, my angel,” The boy chirped happily as he kissed me lightly on the cheek.

I watched him walk off into the distance where his blue book bag faded into the distance. ‘He kissed me…’ I thought. I stared as he kept walking and I kept feeling that warm butterfly like feeling in my tummy. ‘Maybe this is what the wingless ones call love,’ I thought.

“Miss Hope!! You have to come back to the headquarters there’s a de-,” a voice came over from the clouds. Then there was a buzzing sound, there was danger and I had to hurry up and get back there.
“Teleport,” I whispered as I tapped my wand on my forehead.
***
I rushed into the headquarters jumping from portal to portal as I looked for an angel like me. I finally reached the Commander’s control room. I opened the door ready for an attack.

“So… the angel girl decides to comeee…,” a voice hissed.
